CAEDMON
News from the Ulruzian front, plans made during the spring have come to fruition and the rebel forces are outmatched. With its leaders defeated, the rebel forces have scattered or been captured. The Centaurs, paid off with a mutually profitable deal, have broken and fled back to their lands.

North front news; A massive defensive wall is to be built to protect all of Caedmon from the possible giant incursion. Though the troops are ready for battle, this peaceful deterrent is hoped to succeed.

Pregnancy seems to agree with Queen Telenessa, now nearing her sixth month. Her doctors suspect a multiple birth and she has refused the use of magic to find out.

Prince Bjorn has returned to Creighton after a year long struggle in the Lorlynian forest and festivities are organized to celebrate his success.

The Academy is in a flurry of activity with both the Ulruzian and Lorlynian conflicts, as well as the giant situation in Northern Caedmon, students are being challenged to the utmost and this year’s officer and specialist class is said to be one of the best in the last decade.

KINRISAR

The Kinrisar Infantry makes a forced march from the Aheregnome Hills towards Hiuraer and captures the lightly defended rebel capitol. Order is quickly established and the commanders and officers of the remaining forces are held captive. Several renegade senators are also found in the city and “taken to safety” back to the fleet waiting in the west. The Navy returns south to Doluhre with these high level renegades.

Once the capitol is secured and loyal legionnaires with the Kinrisari are confident of their mastery of the city the Infantry departs towards the main rebel force and their battle with Antonius. Their move is swift and sure allowing little advance notice of their movement to precede them. The advance units of the retreating rebel legions are shocked to find their way blocked by the entirety of the Kinrisar forces that they thought long departed. The Kinrisari participate little in the ensuing battle except to capture fleeing units and keep the rebel forces pinned down for Antonius’ legions to strike.

On the seas there is trouble. A supply convoy from Kinrisar is attacked and two ships lost to “pirate hunters” from Rhaavin. An envoy is dispatched to the capitol of Rhaavin to officially protest vessels of the Kinrisar flag being attacked by the ships of Rhaavin. The envoy from Kinrisar accuses the ships of piracy and has the unfortunate duty to explain that ships flying the Rhaavin flag will be treated as pirates themselves. Reparations and an official apology are suggested as a starting point to resolve the issue.

The orc tribes of the Bitroot Mountains are becoming more active. A series of raids on outlying villages and outposts has drawn the attention of the military and militias in the region. Spies have been sent into the mountains to determine what has caused the increased activity.

The green dragon of Tibo has been dormant. Relief is evident in the streets as reconstruction is attempted despite the oncoming winter storms. Many of the refugees return to the city to the delight of the rural populations.

Preparations are being made in Pari Ka’ansa and the other cities of Kinrisar for the return of the Navy and Infantry forces. News of the victory achieved by Kinrisar’s men has traveled across the ocean. There is much pride and celebration on behalf of the sons and husbands of Kinrisar. Plans are made for the arrival of the fleet and a hero’s welcome. King Hadri makes plans of his own to promote successful commanders and offer royal title to the most deserving.

ULRUZ
The rebel army again deploys south, this time with a greater number of Centaur troops. While the skirmish units of both Imperial and rebel Legions exchange blows in advance of the Legionnaire lines, the Suryanasta forces screen the flank of the Imperial forces, keeping the deadly Centaurs at bay while the Lorlynians enable Antonius to have immediate updates on any changes in the battle lines.

Meanwhile, the Kinrisar allied army force-marches east from its encampments in the Ashegnome hills, and engages Hiuraer, quickly taking the lightly defended rebel capitol and cutting the rebels off from their entire supply line. The Imperial Legions keep up a slow retreat in a running battle that lasts three days, weakening both sides. Antonius’ forces, however, are benefiting from a constant infusion of men and supplies, while the stronger Rebel force is worn down, and slowly the tide turns. The rebel garrison and auxiliary forces, now out of food and ammunition, breaks and flees, and are largely slaughtered as they turn to run. The rebel Legions are made of stronger stuff, however, and begin their own slow fighting withdrawel towards their capitol.

It comes as a complete surprise to the Rebels when they find themselves suddenly assaulted from the west by the fresh Kinrisar allied army, which they had believed gone back to Kinrisar months ago, as well as the superb Caedmon mercenaries pouring out of Centaur territory as planned last season. Seeing the writing on the wall, the rebel allied Centaur forces break and flee, suffering their own devastating losses in retreat. The now unengaged Suryanastan forces turn to on the remaining Rebel forces, and the combined might of the Imperial, Kinrisar, Caedmon, Lorlynia and Suryanasta forces encircle and annihilate the Rebels, capturing many renegade Senators as well as the wounded son of the former Emperor.
