But outsiders do leave corpses, or not? Not, if they are summoned, then they just vanish and do not even die, but if they are called, or even better, killed on their home plane, they should leave a corpse?

I don't think they do leave corpses. It's implied a few places that outsiders and elementals are not dualistic creatures like humans (with a physical body and a spiritual soul that can exists seperate from the body (when the body dies for example.)) but rather are made up entirely of body/soul. It's all one thing.

I think this is where they're going with the whole no raising bit and all that. Really it's unclear enough I'd just ask your DM what he thinks about Angel/Demon skeletons.

I'd say outsiders, esp on their home plane, leave a corpse behind (since a corpse is nothing more than the shell or body of a once living creature). Sure, outsiders have no soul so they can't be raised, but unless the DM rules the body molders or vanishes upon death, I'd say its left behind.

Well, of course, that's true for pretty much everything. :)

Besides, the horned devil isn't really better than the dire bear, anyways. ;)

I'd say they leave corpses behind on death. As for skeletal outsiders (angels, demons, whatever)...cool. I'd allow it. Just remember to Rule 0 the part of the skeleton template that says "Winged skeletons can't use their wings to fly." (Creatures that flew magically, still can...just creatures that use their wings, no magical flight, can't fly anymore.)

*waves to his favorite Monster man* Hey Scott! Don't need to ask, I'm getting ToH 3. :D

Thanee,

Might want to check out RPGnow.com. They have a copy of it in PDF. Cheaper too.

I don't really want/need any new monster books, tho, and I most assuredly do not want them in PDF. ;)

Okay...how about I just send you the template? ;)

*is kidding*

Besides I can't believe ANYONE can honestly look at me and say "Yes, Fiend Folio, Monster Manuals 1, 2 and 3 are enough."

It hurts my brain MORE than trying to watch that crud on Sci-fi channel called "Fallen Ones." Ughrr!!
