Actually, that describes a very old form of RW protection worn by mountaneers and arctic explorers to minimize the effects of snow blindness- you'd see them in old movies or even comic books. The Fantastic Four's old enemy, The Mole Man, wore them, as did his subterranean followers (ditto the followers of Tyrranus, his other nemesis).

Don't waste your ranks on Craft (metalworking) and Craft (glassblowing); just get Craft (sunglasses). Hey, if Craft (armorsmithing) can allow you to make both leather and full plate armor, surely you don't need 2 craft skills to make 1 dinky pair of sunglasses!
