Have you actually played or run it?
That is my next step, to at least see it in action or, even better, play with it at the table, so I can get a more full sense of it. Though I have a bit of the same Aldarc issue where there are other games that I'd rather see/try first that keep getting stacked in front of it. :)

(If anyone has a recommendation for a good online vid of a SWADE game/campaign being played please let me know -- it'd be easier to find time to watch something like that in chunks when the opportunity strikes.)

On the subject of true interest though, going back to a previous post you'd made about how you don't see a lot of these games discussed nearly as often, I struggled with a reply to that as well. I adore --- absolutely adore --- so much of 13th Age and Cypher System (two games that are quite different in many ways), but honestly, I just don't know what to post about them half the time. I'm excited when they get mentioned in passing, but I can't find myself gushing over them as a thread-starter. (Incidentally, however, I am doing a Let's Read of 13th Age 2E's player book on the purple site.)
I would love to see a head to head thread discussing 13th Age vs. Shadow of the ____ vs. other not-D&D fantasy RPGs, personally. A lot of those other games sound really good, but outside of Daggerheart and Draw Steel, I'm unclear why one would choose those games versus the alternatives.
Point is, I feel there could definitely be some deep appreciation for these games that just doesn't translate into forum activity.
For sure. Forum activity is the main metric I can think of, but it definitely doesn't truly capture how anyone feels about games.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I would have potentially been a Savage World but not GURPs voter, due to SW being a much less crunchy kitchen-sink game. But I’m not playing Savage Worlds anymore.

The opposite for me. GURPS 4th Edition is one of my favorite games (and I'm looking forward to the revised core set.)

In contrast, I have little-to-no experience with Savage Worlds. I think I dabbled in a few one-shots years ago, but I don't remember much about the game.

I run GURPS when I want something closer to real people. I’m gearing up for a Weird War 2 game using it.

I run Savage Worlds when I want something more kinetic and action oriented. Best game I’ve run in the last five years was a Nights Black Agents game run using SWADE.

If it’s five games my list would be:
Savage Worlds
GURPS
3.x Pathfinder
WHFRP 4e
Blades in the Dark (probably). The MY:0 games might be in this sport.

I chose the three I did because it’s what I have run and continue to run. My group doesn’t love light games (somewhat unfortunately) but I am going to get Mothership on the table this year. I swear.

I would enjoy being on that panel.

I do agree that too many of the choices are too similar - Knave could be folded into Into the Odd and Odd-adjacents (such as Mausritter) in general, and I really don’t think much is lost by folding all of them into OSR, which could then be folded into d20 - but whatever people want, I guess.

One system that’s seminal but missing is Amber, I suppose. But I don’t plan to vote for it so I don’t care if it ends up on the list.
