My memory is sketchy but I think that's more or less the gist. Nothing to do with this Western fantasy campaign setting but this vaguely reminded me of it so I brought it up.Also, the idea of multiple factions of colonisers with varying tolerance for the natives is probably better then "friendly colonisers" and "evil railroad empire", or at least more interesting. I also might suggest to Steampunkette to pair up with someone who knows a lot about Wild West/American frontier history.</blockquote>
