Looks good. Can’t wait to see if it pays off.
She tries to hire Supergirl to kill the man who killed her father, which sets the plot into motion.unfortunately we've had too many 'bad superman' stories already and we dont need another Guardians of the Galaxy or Party Thor either.
I'm not sure this brings any thing different - can anyone whose read the source material tell me?
For instance who is the girl with the sword?
then again I might go see it for Lobo
I haven't read Woman of Tomorrow yet, but it's very well-regarded.I'm not sure this brings any thing different - can anyone whose read the source material tell me?
Heh, I'll see it in the theater to save money. I've cut a bunch of streaming that I just didn't use enough to justify. I guess I could cut one more and then juggle in a month a year from a rotating list and catch up, but that's a long wait and too much of a hassle.I think this is one that I'll wait to hit streaming. I think it'll still be good, but not a theatrical watch for me.
No. They're just also a story about that character. Calling them sequels would change the expectations of someone abput to read them. But are they not a sequel to the extent where you'd correct someone for saying they were? It's the same characters, at a later point in time and, depending on the story, the impacts of the earlier stories are relevant.
Unless he says othwrwise i will assume the previous statement stands. It feels like splitting hairs to me, especially since we don't know exactly what Gunn meant yet, since we haven't seen the finished product, let alone the alternate ideas he was juggling when he made the statement.
