Superheroes and what's right for me.

Okay, there are alot of superhero games on the market, and I've heard people saying good stuff about all of them, but I was curious which I should purchase. So what I need to know is, which will be simplest to use, which will best work with uber-powerful beings (cosmic entities and what not) and which is the best price (yeah I'm cheap.). So if anyone can help me out, thanks.

For most bang for your buck, Four-Colors to Fantasy by EnWorld Publishing gets you a wonderfully customizable system. It costs about $8 for the PDF.

Now, if you are after complexity and exceptionally well balanced hero game, then the Hero system (www.herogames.com) is probably your choice.

However, all of this said, I would probably have to recommend Mutants and Masterminds. Its top-notch, color, beautiful production quality. Also, the system is fundamentally based on the d20 system, but is even more streamlined. To me it looks like it took the Hero system, boiled it down, removing lots of math and what not, and made a much simpler (albeit not nearly as balanced as Hero, but then again, not much is) system.

Uh, yeah. We've had this discussion before in another thread but a different original poster. If you can find the thread, you'll find my recommendation.
