"Superman" in D&D?!

Good call Chun-tzu. I was thinking of something more along the lines of a Paragon human at first. Psychic warrior levels instead of Paladin, though? Maybe? I don't know - I just don't see Supes casting spells or riding a horse. Paladin/Psion/Fighter? I'm just tossing out ideas here.

I would just go with Fighter / Psychic Warrior rather than Paladin. He certainly never layed on hands or turned undead. Sure, he acts like a paladin, but he doesn't need the class itself.

Well, you could just load any character up with magic items. W of X-Ray vision, X of flying, Y of speed, Z of Invulnerability.

If you wanted to replicate Superman's powers with inherent class abilities, I think you'd have to go Monk/Sorcerer. You'd need Stoneskin, the resist elements spells, haste, fly, jump, cone of cold, flame arrow ("flame eye ray", that is) and... something for x-ray vision. The monk levels would be for Unarmed attacks bonus and AC, as well as other immunities.

Actually, no, Superman was Superman because he was from Krypton. So, just make a new race:

Attribute bonuses: +18 to all stats.
Features: X-ray vision, Fly at will, DR 20/-, Immune to poison and disease, Breath weapon: frost breath as white dragon, Produce Flame as gaze attack, permanent protection from elements, does not need to breathe/immune to exposure damage, immune to subdual damage, vulnerable to kryptonite (nullifies all other racial features).

LMAO! Oh it was just for fun! I happened to have been listening to some of John Williams' brilliant scores while making an NPC and the theme to Superman came on. Thing that make you go hmm....

I cannot believe that noone's spotted that outrageous racist statement! Superman ! That's so racist. What about those elves, halflings, gnomes, half-elves, dwarves (it's probably OK to be racist against half-orks, though...). It's gotta be Superhumanoid! Um, Superman wouldn't have a +18 to int or wis. He gets outsmarted by ordinary ol' Lex Luthor all the time. And while he gets a bonus to Charisma, it not in the +18 range. Also, I think +18 is a bit weak for Con and Strength, but about right for Dex.
