Comcast's OnDemand now has a "Superheroes" subheading underneath its "Movies" heading. Among the movies listed there are the first three Superman films, each of which is $2.99 to order for 24 hours.
I was excitedly ready to order the first two movies so as to prepare myself for Superman Returns without the hassle of having to drive to Blockbuster or wherever to rent the DVD's. However, I discovered just in time that the movies there are all in pan & scan, not in widescreen.
There's no way that I'd watch a pan & scan version of any movie for free, much less actually pay for it.
