First Post
"Sam and Dean are shocked to discover a series of comic books titled "Supernatural" that accurately detail their lives as demon hunters.
They track down the writer, Carver Edlund , who explains he has visions of the brothers that he then turns into comic books.
Chuck reveals that Lilith is coming and she has a plan for Sam."

No Supernatural threads lately, but this episode is just to good to miss, so I just have to pimp this - the brothers still kicks major ass and are full of awesome as usual. This is pretty much THE episode to rule them all.

What I liked is that there was at least a good reason within the show to have this happen. It allowed them to poke fun at the fans in a good way. It was very entertaining.

This episode was really well done. They managed to laugh at their own expense and mock the genre while managing to provide a darn good reason for the episode to exist and work in some good plot advancement, all at the same time. I have been very impressed with how this season has dealt with long running plot (which was done rather poorly last season, probably due to the writers strike), provided good writing, and worked very much to the strengths of the actors. I have high hopes for the rest of the season.

Yep, I thought it turned out great. I was leary at first but after they explained the reason it made great sense. I liked the way it let the writers talk to the fans directly while still being in character.

My wife and I loved this episode also. I think this has been the best episode yet this season, and this season IMO has been their best so far. They have some incredible writers that are consistently able to keep us interested every week (unlike Smallville, which I'm finding harder and harder to justify watching). Even when I'm worried that the writers may be biting off more than they can chew, with story lines that run the risk of being too campy or audatious - Padalecki and Ackles provide stunningly believable portrayals that bring it all back to earth. Right now, this is my favorite show (although Dollhouse is a close contender). IMO it's got the best writing and acting of any current show. Just when I think they can't possibly take the story anywhere else, or find a new way to wow us, they pull it off, again and again, week after week. I can't wait to see where this war between the Demons and Angels, and the fate of Sam and Dean, is going to lead.
