Supernatural season 3, Anyone watching?

Yeah, I did think of that. I guess I just figured he might look at it a bit more long term: sure ya get to live it up for a year, but then there is that whole eternity of suffering in hell part....

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. Dean's up to his neck in it.

LoL...true....

I just got done watching the last episode. Really liked the interaction between the trapped demon and Dean. Learning about the whole demon faith was cool as well. Glad they are trying to make some of the demons a bit more three dimensional.
Not sure Blondie is Lucifer. It does seem obvious that she is going to use saving Dean as a carrot to lead Sam down the path to embracing his demonic heritage and take up his role as the leader of the demon army.

Does anyone else think Sam and Blondie will end up sleeping together? And aftere the last episode I'm hoping Sam gets his own private demon army.

I liked Supernatural from the start and think this season has been awesome! Loved the talking with Sam and the trapped demon. Loved the naming of yellow eyes. Loved the rabbit's foot!

All quite good!

Hmm I don't know. I liked parts of the second ep; most of the other eps so far have been meh. I really disliked the latest ep with all the moralising, and thought [sblock] it was pretty obvious the priest was a bad guy.[/sblock]

Blondie might just be a loyal servant of Lucifer, and have the same effect. I think if Lucifer himself were manifesting, there'd be darned little need for Sam.

I am hoping for something even more twisted. Like blondie being a demon bucking for readmission to Heaven, or an angel in disguise playing the role for some reason. Anyone who would want to see the demons corralled, rather than running amok and causing havoc, could want to move Sam towards becoming the general...

Hmm. Last ep was pretty good. Liked the riffing on the Grimm fairy tales. Which reminds me that I always planned on picking up a copy of the original, unedited versions at some point. :D The old lady gleefully stabbing the man? Sick, twisted fun for all.

Interesting to see the family squabbling as well as the crossroads demon playing on that. She got what she deserved I'm sure, and I'm intrigued by the mention of her boss as WELL as the further hints of what Ruby's story is.

(Note: I haven't seen yesterday's ep yet. So the entirety of this post could be completely null and void. ;))

Based on what some other people I know have speculated: Blonde Demon Chick == Lucifer. That would be... really interesting, and perhaps a motivation that she/it really does want to help the boys get rid of these things for her own ends.

Nah, doesn't gel for me.

My hope? (I can't say "my theory" because I don't expect them to do this; I just hope they do.) My hope is that Ruby (aka Blonde Demon Chick) is Azazel.

Let me explain.

It has never made sense to me that Azazel/Yellow-Eyes is dead. Why? Because he's not stupid. He has plans that take decades if not longer to come to fruition.

So if he has the Colt--the only weapon in existence that can kill him--and he needs to use it as a key to the Devil's Gate...

Why in the name of creation did he leave the last bullet in the friggin' gun?!?!

It's bugged me since the episode aired at the end of last season. But what if he didn't? What if he replaced the bullet with a "normal" one, and faked letting it kill him?

Now the Brothers Winchester think he's dead. They're off their guard, at least in terms of being on the lookout for his influence. And now that he knows that Sam isn't going to be tempted into leading the army, maybe he thinks he can nudge him into doing so as an ally.

And since demons can take any form, what better form than that of an attractive blonde?

Sick, twisted and a very good theory. Makes sense. I wonder if the other colt opens another gate. Yellow Eyes probably figured the direct way didnt work, lets try a round aboutway.
