guys that have played any of the versions from 1-3,

I find it foolish that wotc let so many great adventures just fade into the mist. They completely missed the ball in not making a good D123 or A1-4. They shouldn't have let these great adventures become just legends. I consider them part of dnd that has been neglected. Dnd isn't just about fighters and clerics. Its also about the monsters being done right. And also having the great adventures being around to use. I may have gotten more into 4th edition if I'd seen those old stories in print and usable. But I got pushed out of the way with Players Handbook 7 and the Nonessentials line of products. It's not just about the rules.

There's a good deal of stuff that should be updated to be easily playable again.

But we can always convert the adventures anyway.

converting is a big chore and it doesn't make stuff that's been missing for 20 years accessible on the market. A lot of people don't have time to spare trying to figure these things out. They just have time to play!

I like classic adventures. I like new adventures. I just simply can't get enough adventures, even if I'm just going to read them.

Adventures are where the rubber meets the road in D&D, and I've think they are every bit as important as rule books.

We always can use new adventures; it's usually easy enough to convert the ones that exist.

Rather than rehash the 33rd incarnation of Castle Ravenloft, I'd rather they came up with a new adventure series with a gothic bend - and leave a spot where if you have an old version of I6 (or any of its incarnations), you could insert it into the series.

WotC converted T1, C1, S1, G1-4 (ongoing), in addition to "re-imagining" G1-4 and S1 as separate super-modules and B2 as the Chaos Scar.

Personally, I would be happy if there were no updates or conversions of old material at all in 5e. It reminds me too much of what happened with superhero comics, endlessly rehashing classic material over and over again for a dwindling fanbase. Stop trying to relive the past and get busy making the next generation's classics, IMO.

guys, I know its hard to understand buy people would buy these things. Look at Call of Cthulhu, it has modules from 30 years ago still in print. Pendragon might be getting the old stuff back. These are good stories to adventure in. That doesn't mean that new stuff isn't developed.

B6 - Veiled Society - but as a full finished product rather than half-arsed mini experiment.

If WotC team does D&D5 the way they say they will, then the old stuff will be usable with no need for a new edition conversion...

I certainly would not like to see old stuff rereleased.
