But as one that's spent an entire semester in a physical therapy clinic this year (I'm studying athletic training at college) and having rehabed so many knees I think I could do it in my sleep, I say keep up your therapy no matter the pain! And do your rehab "homework!" Not doing so can cause scar tissue to form, preventing you from ever getting your full range of motion back. This happened to one of our patients, and she had to have a second surgery to clean out the scar tissue.
