So I just found out that I've been spending $1,300 a year on car insurance that I REALLY DIDN'T NEED TO PAY FOR since my vehicle qualifies for my father's commercial insurance policy for his construction company in which I am employed. THEREFORE........I have wasted almost 3 grand because my mother refused to inform me that this opportunity existed, simply because she thought it was a tad dishonest, since the car is not exclusively used for work. Well, neither is my dad's truck. So fie on her, I say. I COULD HAVE BEEN GETTING FREE CAR INSURANCE FOR *insert significant thingy*'s SAKE!! And now I will. WITH collision AAAAND theft coverage.

I haven't been here (OT forum) for a long while, but right now, I'm bored.

I really hate my car. REAALLLLYYY hate it. It takes 30 seconds to go from 0-60, and it seems built for someone who's 5 feet tall. I feel like my back is snapping everytime I get out of it. I NEED A NEW CAR. BUT I don't have the money to get a new one, and my car is now little more than 66% of the Blue Book value from when I bought it last May.

You think that's fun, try driving in a 12-year-old car 70 miles a day, which only hits the "drive gear" after shifting by holding down the break and gas simultaneously till it catches. But hey, when it's in drive, the sucker drives beautifully.

At least it drives better than the car that sounds like Mothra until 60 seconds after starting.

Them new motor-vehicles thingies is expensive. After I pay off a few more things, a new car for me AND the wife is a must.

Our firewall at home still doesn't like your forums. I've managed to browse a few time, but logging in seems to be a sure-fire way to set it off.

Not unless they come down in price, I won't! I'd just settle for a car with good gas mileage that was made after the advent of Magic: The Gathering.

Bah, cars. I have no car, and haven't for over a decade; and though once in a while it's a lil inconvenient, I'm fortunate enough to live in a town where you don't really need one.

How odd!

I'm not sure how firewalls work, so I can't offer to mess with settings in an attempt to make it too firewall-friendly. Although when I tried to check the boards at the airport I discovered they were barred because they fall into a porn category. I wonder why that should be? (We've had some spammers put porno pictures up, but have always deleted the pics and banned the users within in minutes.) Maybe it's that, do you have parental guards at your house or anything?

(For some reason I think they're also linked on a few porn sites, which sounds pretty malicious to me.)

And does anybody know how to recategorize the boards so they're not a porn site? :\
