Not part of the capstone.

Capstone is not an officially defined term. I think it makes more sense to define it by mechanics than by labels. What do you gain by staying with a single class for all 20 levels?
This is often identical to the named level 20 feature, but not always. For example, Monk and Sorcerer gain a 20th point.
Going from 19 to 20 isn't much. Going from 6 per day to infinity is a pretty big deal, in the same way that unlimited wild shape is a big deal. You can use the feature in situations where it previously wasn't affordable.
