I'm helping a friend build a Svirneblin warrior to replace the dwarven barbarian in our group that was swallowed by a huge purple worm. Given that the barbarian was one of the heavy hitters of the group, the replacement will also be in the front line - not ideal, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes.
Other party members include a human Transmuter, dwarf Monk, elf Rogue (archer), halfling Cleric, and a human Bard.
No stats rolled as yet, but by our rolling method should be above average. Limited to 8 class levels.
I was thinking a sneak attack specialist. Probably Rogue and Invisible Blade combination. But also tossing around Shadowdancer or Dervish.
Resources are PHB, DMG, MM, Complete Arcane, Complete Warrior, Domplete Divine, and Races of Stone (and Complete Adventurer when available here).
