So after much wailing, threats, and gnashing of teeth, my copy of Coruscant and the Core Worlds arrives at the giant chain bookstore yesterday, where I purchase it with the big honking gift card within 2 hours of its arrival.
And it's so good -- I read it on the bus to work, and most other spare moments that allow me to take in a page or two. It's slow going, given that I want to read everything at least two times to make sure I understand it. But I made it past the first stat block tonight. Happiness ensues.
So, in the midst of my (so-far) admiration of this new sourcebook, I have a question. I'm at the part with all the adventure hooks (admittedly, not very deep), so without giving anything away:
In general, are GMs and others 'supposed' to write one-offs and things around the hooks to get PCs levelled up in their own campaigns?
I ask because I've scoured the SWRPG sections of every bookstore in Portland looking for this book, and in the midst of that search, I have yet to find an "Adventure Path" module for SW that starts at 1st level. Tempest Feud - second. Tatooine - fourth! Etc.
So if you can answer my question, thank you. But otherwise, post your thoughts on Coruscant and the Core Worlds here, if you want.
