Swarm type errataed/changed?

I am reading Libris Mortis and read the Swarm description, and to my surprise found that:
A swarm takes a -10 penalty on saving throws against spells or abilities that affect an area, such as many evocation spells and splash weapons. If the area attack does not allow a saving throw, the swarm takes double damage instead.

While in the MM and SRD (as well as MM3) it says
A swarm takes half again as much damage (+50%) from spells or effects that affect an area, such as splash weapons and many evocation spells.

Is this then an errata? As far as I can see it has not been released as such, nor even mentioned.

*Sigh* I suppose I now will have to go through the swarm, undead and incorporeal type descriptions word for word, as they are the only ones printed in LM.

Are there any other such changes in MM3 that I have missed?

The -10 thing was in the "original" version of the swarm subtype as presented in the Fiend Folio (pre 3.5). So I'd say that's a mistake.

It reminds me of the change in [cold] and [fire] subtypes - at one point they were going to be -10 save, double damage if there isn't a save, and then they settled on +50% damage in all circumstances. Not a bad solution really.

Of course, the problem is that anyone playing where the "official" status of rules is involved has to keep track of the order of publication. Last published takes precedence, a policy which was confirmed to me when I asked WotC Customer Service about how Complete Divine had "rolled back" an update in a couple of spells.
