Swashbuckling Adventures: an evil, evil thought

BTW, the Swashbuckling Adventures book is great, possibly the best book (as far as content) for d20 that I've seen.

That aside, has anyone else noticed that ships are considered monsters, and that you can buy levels for them? A pretty neat idea, especially when you consider that since a ship is a monster, it can be given templates. See where I'm going? Anyone for an Abyssal Undead Flying Dutchman? Mwah-ha-ha!!!!!!!:D

Of course they should let it apply to all vehicles, so I can tug around my Lich-Wagon and play with my Ghost Glider (which might be impractical unless they manifest, but hey...)

Re: Ships & D20 Swashbuckling online

I'm looking for some additional suggestions for rules to augment the D20 SA guide as well as the 7th Sea gaming systems.

I've recently started work on a 7th Sea online game (http://www.treyvan.com/~swash) which will use the SA rules as a baseline and then branch out to import some of the 7th Sea D10 R&K system. I'm sure there will be faults with it that I'd like to add other rules from other systems for. Any other suggestions? We're planning on using ships, but can't afford to have it unbalanced too greatly.
