Sword Coast Legends - Major Technical Problems in Head Start (Beware)

I downloaded the Head Start software as prescribed today. I cannot get the game to run past the splash screen. My whole computer nose dives into a crash. I'm running a new iMac with 12 Gb RAM. Most other folks with Macs are having the same problem (on the Steam forums), and so are a bunch of folks with PCs. So far, very few people have got their promised "head-start". Very disappointing. It's one of the reasons I pre-ordered.

Sorry to hear that. Only as a data point, I was able to run it well on my late 2012 iMac. Ran into some glitches during play, but overall it ran fine.
