Swordmage + Eldritch Panoply Set Questions

Hey all. I looked around but I was unable to find answers to two questions I've been having about the Eldritch Panoply set when combined with certain Swordmage powers.

The first is in regards to the Blade of the Eldritch Knight and Luring Strike. The power traditionally allows you to shift one square and shift the target one square into the space you occupied. How does power work when you are attacking with a range of 5?

Second, the set bonus states that when you use a teleportation power, you can use a minor action in the same turn to teleport a number of squares eqaul to the number of items in the set you have. I am somewhat new to 4e, but given that this power requires a minor action, it most likely can't be combined with the Aegis of Assualt triggering effect. Or can it?

Forgive my ignorance, but what's a Blade of the Eldritch Knight? You mentioned Reach 5, is it a set that grants you extended polearm-like reach?

Level: 15+
Price: 25,000 gp
Weapon: Heavy blade
Enhancement: +3 attack rolls and damage rolls
Critical: +1d6 damage per plus
Property: When you use a standard action to make a melee attack with this blade, your melee reach increases to 5 for that attack.

If you are not adjacent to the target, you can shift, but you can't legally slide the target, since the maximum slide on the power is one square and the target square that you must slide to is too far away. From what I remember from customer service responses, if you don't have enough sliding squares to get your target to the designated target square, you don't slide at all.

You are right, since you can only use a minor action on your turn and you can only do an immediate interrupt on another's turn. However, there are many heroic tier swordmage teleport powers, though fewer at higher tiers.

Technically it can be combined with the Aegis of Assault. Aegis of Assault is a power with the teleport keyword, so you are using a teleportation power when you use it to Mark as a minor action. Then you can use your move as a minor teleport x squares. Pick up a Ring of Free Time and you have another Minor every round after a milestone.

Note that actually teleporting to enforce the Aegis of Assault mark is not using a teleporting power, it is just teleporting. This is one of those power vs ability, and keyword vs action oddities that pop up every so often in 4e.
