Swordsage + maneuvers + antimagic field good against mages?

Assuming you center an AF around the swordsage using the items described in the splat books or imbuing a weapon of legacy with such properties, how would the SS do against a mage?

Just about anything in an antimagic field is good against a mage. What specifically are you wondering about?

Lol, true.

In particular, take Raptorian race and getting Air Heritage feat, combined with the shadow blink maneuver and flyby attack. This lets the SS travel 120 feet as a move action + swift action and then go with the tornado throw maneuver. He gets aground +10 bonus to his initiative for being a swordsage as well.

With an AF field, this technique prevents the mage from teleporting or activitating (benefiting from) his contingency. The SS throws him away, and he falls prone, wasting a move action just trying to get up. If the SS has team mates nearby, he throws the mage into all the squares they threatened and have them pummel the said mage senseless along with the 4d6 points of damage I deal.

What items create an anti-magic field?

And how would one get a weapon with that ability?

Sounds good!

I would imagine that anyone with a ring of major spell storing which contained antimagic field would be amazing against mages (except, probably, another mage). The issue is the antimagic field, not the class or manoeuvres!

Weapon of legacy can be imbued with magical spells. They are considered supernatural abilities so they can't be dispelled by a mage.

Also, there's the antimagic torc from "Races of the Underdark."

The reason why I picked swordsage was because he has maneouvers that can help him out in combat. The maneuvers are extraordinary abilities with some supernatural ones. The extraordinary abilities can function even in an antimagic field. The Raptorian race is simply so that he can reach the mage should the mage be in the air flying or on a phantom steed.
