System for Old School Dungeon Crawl + Modern Setting?

I have been running old skool dungeons with Savage for some months. First, be generous with bennies, two look at the rules tweaks in the core book to make it cinematic. Most of all, make the monsters weak but with signature moves, and its good if those moves are simply use of the combat options. So a gang of gremlins are Parry 5, Toughness 6, fighting d6, but they have first strike and disengage, with a tendency to wild attack. That's scary but also interesting and teaches the players how they might get the best from the system.

Off topic: why do "looking for system" posts always come from new members?

On topic: At least that explains why they don't know about the free-to-play, free-to-hack RPG in the ENworld downloads section. ...That makes combat more exciting by removing the borders of turns, and allows players to play a Foreman, Smelter Operator, or Fatcat Boss by not pigeonholing characters into classes - just character concepts. ...And written by yours, truly.

I will +1 Savage Worlds as well. ;)
