Okay,

I had a interesting idea for a spy game that works to control and protect time from evil temporal organizations that would try to change the past or conquer the future. The group is simply known as T.I.M.E.

Temporal

Infiltration

&

Mastery

Ensemble

Super spies, temporal shifts, master technologists, mad scientists, dinosaur DNA, cold war infiltrators, anti-time religious zealots, nanotech soldiers, far future robot lords, etc.

Now, I've only gotten this far in the concept, so I'm looking for some ideas to expand T.I.M.E. into a Campaign Model for d20 Modern/d20 Future. I don't have access to Spycraft or to Mutants & Masterminds, so those systems are out.

Basically, I'm asking has anyone considered such a campaign concept before? And if you have then please share how you built it and what the results were? What would be the "dos" and "do nots"?

And finally, does anyone think this would be a good idea?

There have been time travel RPGs based around the idea of some kind of temporal enforcement, ranging from Feng Shui to Doctor Who and all points in between. It's certainly a viable campaign model, but it'll require you to sit down and work out how you're going to handle paradoxes and other classic weirdness.
