Looks cool, but not sure what You would use it for.
Also, it appears that the crew over at Wired don't buy it.
‘Table Connect’ Turns iPhone into (Fake) Big-Ass Table | Gadget Lab | Wired.com

As far as I know, it only works with an iPhone 4 because that has a processor quick enough to handle the app.
Curious how much it will cost, a 57" TV already costs ~€8000, and that's without a touch interface or iPhone connection. If it tops €11.000 it is going to be more expensive then the Microsoft Surface table and might seriously hamper the amount of units they will sell. The positive: It isn't as deep, thus could easily be used as a table, uses the iOS software (thus you can use iPhone apps without modification) and is a far larger surface (58"vs. 30"). Limited resolution (960x640 vs 1024x768), not as much interaction possibilities as Surface (recognizes opjects placed on the table).
Wouldn't so (relatively) few pixels blown up to such a large size look pretty terrible? Try zooming 12x or 16x on any iPhone screenshot to get an idea.
