I suspect 'standard humans' only exist because feats are optional. It's just a theory, though.

Instead of trying to exclusively attack PAM's AC and hp, occasionally target their wisdom and charisma. Send in the shamans. It isn't unreasonable for your evil humanoids to have clerics to bolster their troops. Command, Suggestion, Hold Person are low level spells that could give PAM some trouble, and at higher levels Banishment would be a fun surprise.
