Just a quick mod of Trainz' coloring of Sulis, adding a multiply layer with the original B/W picture as Storn suggested. You can already see what a big improvement that makes. All the pencil lines are just as crisp as in the original, and you have less bleed over between colored areas as a result:

Yeah, I think that is much better. Now the next step is think on how the penciller set his light source... and how you can reinforce that decision... heh, heh. Old teacher's trick, keep asking for more!

Shadows, highlights will really make your color come to life.

And that is pretty yellow skin! That might be purposeful and determined by text... but it sure is strange.

Nah, it's all Trainz' coloring plus the original drawing. I had literally zero creative input here, just followed Storn's suggestion to add a Multiply layer...
