And looking at your website, it seems like shipping is $7, which is about $5 too much for book rate.

A little (very little) information digging on their website shows this:

"We ship domestic orders through the United States Postal Service, so items under 1 lb. (such as a single comic book) usually travel First Class (approx. 3-7 days) and items over 1 lb. typically ship as Priority Mail (approx. 2-3 days), once they leave the warehouse"

Priority Mail box rate is around $4.50+, not counting insurance.

I'd consider the $7 a reasonable rate for a 300 page book going Priority.

Just to be cynical, isn't this a case of where you probably make more money off of shipping & handling than the product is actually worth (like most things sold on late night TV)?

I mean, as mentioned in the other threads, various stores have heavily discounted the books. And in order to put the books to use, people would have to buy a Player's Handbook and presumably some monster manuals.

And looking at your website, it seems like shipping is $7, which is about $5 too much for book rate.

They have done previous promotions here, and elsewhere. I got a few Kalamar adventures for free, before I had bought any of their products. And that was with no shipping charge too. It convinced me to pick up a few Kalamar books.

If $7 still seems like too much for you, then don't participate. I'm in.
