Taking 20 Gone?

Page 179 of the PHB mentions taking 10 on skill checks, but there's no mention of taking 20.

Is it gone from 4th, or is there something similar that I haven't found or understood yet?

What are the rules for retrying a failed skill roll?
There are different rules for each skill. For the most part you can't try again until circumstances change in some way, or another player helps you. But some skills, like Heal and High Jump, can be performed again immediately.

And Perception for searching a room is done with take 20.

It was a confusing rule for neophytes (especially with the Take 10 rule alongside it). Not including it means a new DM can just let a player roll over and over or an experienced DM can realize the rolling over and over is pointless and just see if a PC can eventually make the check and decide how long it takes (if rerolling is even possible, that is).

There's a bit in the DMG about just assuming players rolled a 20 on their Perception checks when given enough time to thoroughly search a room.
