Aeryl comes sauntering around the corner at that moment with his arm around a second year student. Seeing the gathering he gives a brief "see-ya-later" nod to his comapanion and heads over to Fairbairn, "Hey Fairbairn, how's it going. Aeryl Phylin here, whatya got for me?" he says with a roguish smile.

Kieran looks at the two potions that have been helpfully identified by Clipper... completly missing the fact that he was being insulted... and takes the response at face value.

'Bugger-Off potion, and Study Harder Moron potion. Got it. Thanks, Fuzzfoot! I won't stuff you in a closet this time.'

Kieran takes the two vials and moves over to Judyth the half-orc, as she is the only one that comes close to him on size and strength.

'Whatcha think, chickie? Bugger-Off potion just a fancy name for a Potion of Cause Fear? Right? And this Study Harder Moron vial potion is a Potion of Fox's Cunning? Dat's what I think! I'm an alchemist after all! But I figured I'd give you an exam and let you just confirm it too. Extra-credit and all that.' He smiles conspiratorily at her. 'Not that I need your help or nothing... after all, I know these potions like the back of my ha-- Hey! What's that? I never saw that before...' looking at the back of his hand,. obviously.

Judyth Longbottom : Female Half-Orc Apprentice 3

Judyth tucks away the potion and parchment into her backpack just as Kieran moves over to her and asks about the potions. Because she was so absorbed in identifying her two items she failed to hear Clipper's joke. She nods to Kieran and takes each potion, unstoppers it, stiffs it, and then returns it to Kieran.

"Hmmmm. Let's see..."

Aeryl comes sauntering around the corner at that moment with his arm around a second year student. With a huff Fairbairn turns back a few pages and scratches another mark on his clipboard. "Here - next time I won't be so generous!" He hands Aeryl two vials, one with the now-common greenish liquid, and another with a vile-looking brown fluid.

"Now. If you don't mind, I will say:"

The sweaty little bald Fairbairn slams the door shut as his conclusion.

She points at the greenish one first and then the purplish one.

"That one is a mild healing potion and that one is a potion of spider climb."

She smiles at Kieran.

 

[Gray Shade]

Clipper has wandered off down the hall, looking for and at doors, muttering, "Twenty-three . . . twenty-three . . . hmmm . . ."

 

[DEFCON 1]

"That one is a mild healing potion and that one is a potion of spider climb."

Kieran stares at her confusedly. 'Minor healing? Spider climb? But...'

Before he finishes his statement, he hears Clipper's footsteps and low, muttering voice wafting down the hall.

"Twenty-three . . . twenty-three . . . hmmm . . ."

Kieran's eyes narrow as he now realizes he was deceived... and he strides down the hall after the halfling. 'Hey Fuzzfoot!' he yells, paying no attention to the rest of the students. 'You lied to me! I think it's time you and the closet got to know each other!'

If/when he catches up with Clipper, he reaches out to grapple him and then carry him to the nearest door in the hall (thinking that it would invariably be a closet, regardless of whether it actually is or not.) ((Grapple Attack +3))

uh oh.

If Clipper sees Kieran coming, he'll tell him, "Don't do this." But he will not try to evade or resist. If/when Kieran gets hold of him, Clipper will add, "you'll only make enemies this way. Now quit acting like you play for the other team."
