Yes, i bought the pdf. I may like this. Of course the trick will be the same. Convince people to play it instead of "normal" D&D. I have had some success in that department. Ravenloft, Traveller, and Rokugan.

Treebore, the week of Feb 17th DriveThruRPG has a 40 page Tal pdf for FREE.

Check it out! :)

hmm what a pickle.. Talislanta has always been one of my favourite non d20 games.. and I had plans to get the 4th ed sometime soon... now I hear there is going to be a d20 version too!! What a dilemma, which do I go for... DOH!

I suspect this is going to continue to be an expensive year....sigh

you know sometimes I wish I had a smoking or drinking habit instead...theyre much cheaper in retrospect LOL :D

Any news on this puppy?

Actually yes. After a last minute glitch, we received word from the printer that it will officially be shipping first thing Wednesday March 2nd which means it should be in the hands of distributors and retailers by next week. My apologies for the delays.

That's a relatively quick turn around considering the horror stories we've heard from many on these boards.

Any chance of some previews? Maybe a race like the thrall or a monster or something along those lines?
