Talislanta d20

As long as it has the Tal 4e magic system I'm going to get it. Okay...I'll probably get it for the massive amounts of races and information it will have to mine for my own world. ;)

Talislanta is good for ANY fan of fantasy...it's great. There are no Elves, Dwarves, Halfling, or even Humans. Every race is its own race. Love it, love it, love it!

Xambrian Wizard Hunter all the way.

It even has music and more music by Sechi. :)

While your statement is true on the surface, I hope you're not implying that there aren't any races that pretty much fill those roles in the campaign.

The races are fairly unique. There are some, which are pretty much humans, but there are none that I can think of, which would fit the image of dwarves or halflings. And there are no elves, but some races, which have a few similarities, tho not really a race which could be viewed as elves.

I think a lot of the races are named after the culture and nation they originate in, so in a standard game we have Humans as a race, but in Talislanta they have names like Xambrian, Arimite, and so on, named after the nation or culture.

Me, I like the Kang. They would teach those Cymirilians (is that how they are spelled) a lesson in humility (and make them good slaves). ;)

...and to think that soon we will be able to plop the Empire of The Petal Throne down in the middle of Talislanta as well..

Muah-hahahahaha
