Heh - well, it's not what I thought it was when I put it up, but I'm glad someone's getting enjoyment out of my link anyway! Even my mistakes bring joy to the world - I'm awesome!Reveille said:Looks like I've found a new way to spend my time. Already sunk an hour into it, and I'm already 3rd level![]()
That why a limit on replacement characters is needed. Chaos Bloodbath's one life to live is a good idea if long games are a real problem. Part of that problem is sometimes folks trying to make sure every is having fun forget the game is competative. Taking the Crown of Command does not win the game, It makes killing off everyone else easy.Bullgrit said:The game could actually last indefinitely because someone has to make the move to start winning. Players could just march around the outer and middle region without end, gaining power and no one *has* to go for the win, and the win won't just happen.
Most other games, so long as you just play, will end and a winner will happen. But Talisman requires a player to feel confident enough in his character's power to move on through the Portal of Power. It's kind of an odd thing.
