Talk to me about d20 Psionics

I'm thinking about doing a brief game with an X-Files feel to it, involving psionic abilities. Only psi, with the classic psionic abilities of telepathy and telekinesis being in the forefront.

I'd like to use d20 in some form or fashion. What have others used? GR's Psychic book? The d20 Modern Psionics? Is there further Psi info in Urban Arcana? Spycraft?

I've run this type of thing before using GURPS Psionics and while I could just give everyone a copy of GURPS Lite I'd like to stay with d20 if at all possible.

Green Ronin's Psychic's Handbook with the skill-n-feat Psychic System.

Although I've yet to hear someone try and convince me that the XPsiHB[/b] is as good or better than the PsyHB.

I think Psychic's handbook would be excellent for that. It even has a d20 modern section in it. XPH is more of a high-fantasy feel.

Another vote for Pychic's Handbook here. I found it quite useful in my low-FX D20 Modern campaign.

They're so different that I find them very hard to compare. The Psychic's handbook is more subtle, both in flavor and effect, and would be great for X-files. XPH is much more overt and powerful, and feels more like D&D mind flayers and 1990's era X-Men.

Questions; What is the XPH? I think the PH is Psionics Handbook but I'm confused with the X part.

How extensive is the Psychic's Handbook notes on converting it to Modern? Is it just a sidebar with a few paragraphs, a entire section or chapter?

I vote Green Ronin's Psychic Handbook. I've been mucking around with low level FX for 4 years, and this came in and codified it effortlessly.

Another vote for Pychic's Handbook here folks. Unless youplan on running a Scanners styled game of over the top powers, the XPH is just too powerfull. Good for high fantasy but not for low fx settings that I like to run with D20M.
