"So you get many such peddlars here? I've not seen a whip like that before." The big Kinan says to Tanner as the others usher the children inside.

Kell looks at the children with pity. He turns to Tanner.

"Is there an place for orphens and the like in these parts? I'd think that after the war, the Knights would see to something like that.

Kell slides his arrow back in the quiver but continues to hold the bow.

"We should get this boy a bed, for now. And some food. We can work out the future plans for these two later. For now, they need food and rest."

Gorash StoneBless

With a big, broad, ear to ear smile Gorash steps from behind the door and say to the other.
I am Freak ?! Bah !! he looks like a drenched hobgoblin to me, Ha Ha , That is something to drink for.
He goes to the table, reach out for his bag and takes out it special mug …
Hey, where is my mug !? Yeblin !!! where is my clay mug, I can identify my mug anywhere, empty your pockets or endanger yourself with Reorx's wrath !!

Myst

She calls over to the tavern’s owner and says, “Barkeep, is it possible for these two children to sleep here until the boy gets better?” At the same moment see tosses a few steel pieces on a table in the large mans direction. “This should cover any costs that you may incur.”

Myst's talking to Luke allows Yeblin to get in and out of the kitchen unnoticed. Luke says, Of course. I've never been much good with kids, but I'll do my best for 'em.

We know you'll look after them all right Luke. You look after me and Ulricsohn and lots of us others a lot of the time. Tanner follows Myst's lead, but offers a large pouch of coins. Ulricsohn looks a little suprised, but Tanner nods at him and Ulricsohn offers a similarly large pouch. Me too mate, I think this should almost cover my tab as well ya?

Luke looks a little red at the sudden attention. You guys are welcome here anytime, and your kender friend can use my kitchen whenever he likes. Though if he thinks he can do a better soup than me, he's dreamin'!

[sblock=Gorash]The boy just appears a little dehydrated, nothing a bowl of soup shouldn't cure. heal check [/sblock]

Yeblin comes back with two mugs in hand. Inside is some fresh limonades he just made for the kids. Among the mugs, Gorash recognize his personal mug. "I've put the soup on the fire. It should be ready in less then fifteen minutes, just to gives the time for the soup to boil. Here some fresh limonades, tasty and sweety, like all youngs kenders like it. I suppose you'll like it too." he hands both mugs to the two kids. "Chickens and noodle soup, with a touch of herbs to give more taste. By the end, I'll add a few fresh vegetable to make the soup more consistant and to keep the freshness of the vegetables. I'll bring a bread with that and some butter. Nothing better when your sick, and it fill the belly. You'll like that. It was what my mother gaves me everytimes I was sick. You'll see kids, you'll like it. Well, I have a few minutes before going back into the kitchen." Yeblin takes his Chapak, and put the haft on his mouth, and start to play a joyous song with rythme and spirit.

A couple hours pass as you eat, drink, swap tales with Tanner and Ulricsohn, and are entertained by Yeblin's music (which for once is close to being on-key). But leave it to the ossifer to spoil the fun, as out of nowhere you suddenly hear:

Attention on deck! Company fall in!

Deregan stands in the door, and he does not appear to be happy, judging from his beet-red face, matching eyes, and the steam trickling from his ears. Tanner has a coughing fit as his ale goes down the wrong pipe, and Ulricsohn merely sprays it across the table.

Kell gets to his feet quickly, his hand instinctively settling on his bow. He stands relatively quickly and turns to the man at the door, before commenting to Ulricsohn.

"What is this? I take it's not a drill, eh?"

Yeblin quickly find a finish for the music he was playing and put back his Chapak at his belt. "Why he is always ruining the fun?" asks the kender to Gorash, before standing up.
