Aye, giants and goblins have been reported by several patrols in the last fortnight. The sightings have been to the north and west, near the abandoned hobgoblin city of Throtl. Steen says.

Are they organizing for a raid? Wally asks.

At the moment they don't appear to be. They seem more interested in taking what they can find from the abandoned city. No goblins have been reported south of Throtl as yet.

Still, that kind of activity will only keep the goblins busy for so long. It'll only be a matter of time before they turn their attention to us. Tanner chimes in.

"Goblins? I find more interesting hobgoblins. I've met the highlord Toede once. I served him one of my super explosive chicken. I think he liked it, but I never got teh chace to get all his comment. That's too sad, but his goblin guard seemed less pleased that I was such in favor of him." replies Yeblin.

“Gobliniods I can see and almost even expect, but Giants? There hasn’t been a sighting of Giants in Anasolan since that Last War!” Exclaims the young warrior. A bit baffled by the reports she sits in silence while the rest of the bar explodes into conversation. Giants… why would they be here and with golinoids? What could they possibly want? Can be connected with Keep’s Commander and that merchant?… Leaning over to the master dwarf she quietly asks, “Perhaps the Commander will want to go out on patrol and see these sightings for himself. We could all use some fresh air after today, no?”

"Looking for giants? That is a great idea! I've never seen giant... well, for me, everyone is a giant, except Gorash, but Giant, now we talk about some guy as tall as four kenders, maybe more. Imagine when you are big like that, the big things you can do. Hey, when do we go looking for giants? You think one of them will want to carry me on his shoulder, I am wondering what big guys like them see the world." wonders Yeblin

Kell sips at his ale then speaks after being silent for most of the meal.

"Giants, eh? Anything's possible, I suppose, but we're probably talking about some large and especially ugly ogres. Fear and the spreading of tales to different people has a tendency to make threats grow bigger and bigger."

Kinan listens, his face clouding over at the mention of giants and ogres, though he holds his tongue.

I'm thinkin' it's probably you lot. Heh, commander wants to get yer feet wet early.

Am I hearin' yas right, you want the commander to go patrollin' with you? Aw that's a good one. Steen chuckles.

Good luck gettin' him him out of his office, and away from those two lieutenants of his. Ever since they arrived a couple months back they been like hand and glove. Davies chimes in.

"When did those new L.T's arrive? I would have guessed they have been here as long as the Keep Commander. No?"
