“Pardon Master Teifling, I’m afraid I was not here when you introduced yourself. You were pleasant enough to join our table, would you be amicable to joining us on this little venture into the unknown?”

"I don't see why not,"
Colgrave drawls with a smile. "There's a rather refreshing note of honesty in this 'consider that you may not return', and after all, one can't simply sit around in bars all the time..."

He follows the others out, snagging a sigil from the note as he goes.

Acre's general grin widens considerably.

"Have you room for my greatspear?" the tall, criminally-handsome half-elf asks. "It has this strange but useful habit of finding its way between the ribs of my enemies. Or, at the very least, showing my allies where to strike."

(Moving from yellow to orange to avoid confusion with other posters)

The cleric eyes the half-elf and nods with approval and smiles. Yes, we could use one of your talents.

I may have over recruited. I'll have to check whether KD said 5 including Knoepf or knoepf with 5 others. VV had a character which he retired after
we finished with part 1 of the adventure. Voda, are u interested in continuing with this adventure? If so, then that would be six. Need to know Voda's intentions.

A few of the patrons recognized the tall human woman in Flamic robes who approached the bar. She gave her name perfunctorily, as if she knew the rules of the tavern, but would rather not say anything.

"Narvala ir'Sarhain" She gave her name as.

"Can you get me something strong, Brews?" She asked the warforged barkeep. The way the last adventure had ended had not agreed with her at all.

"I thought you were rather partial to Thrane's red wines."
Brews replied.

"That, my friend, is when I want to enjoy my drink." She said.

[sblock=appearance]Narvala is a little taller than average, slender, pale, with raven-black hair, blue eyes, and aristocratic features. Everything she wears or carries seems to be of excellent quality, albeit done in simple, Flamic styles. She always wears a silver medallion with the symbol of the Silver Flame engraved on it.

Anyone familiar with the Thrane-Karrnath front during the final years of the Last War might recognize her as one of the more talented junior officers on Thrane's side; anyone familiar with Thranish aristocracy might note the ir'Sarhain family is one of the great Church dynasties in Flamekeep.

A young looking male human, blonde and well-muscled crosses the door, panting a bit. "Stupid stairs. Stupid city.", mumbles. He looks a warrior, though a strange one: though he wears light leather armor he carries strapped to his back a couple scabbards containing twin, very large blades.

He eyes the piece of paper he holds and checks is the correct place. That stupid gnome misunderstood him when he asked a place "where the action was" (wink, wink); instead of a party, here people seem to be preparing for the advent of an evil god, judging by the amount of cutlery, magical paraphernalia and scars present.

"Your name?" asks Brews unceremoniously.

"Uuuh - Leeghon." says the young man, though he realizes, too late, that he should have told the warforged a false name. "So, is this place always like this? Or are the hookers coming later?"

Narvala quickly dismissed the idea that the young man's comments were designed to rouse the temper of a priestess of the Silver Flame. It did not take someone as skilled in observing human nature as she to notice that he was far more interested in finding 'entertainment' than picking a fight with her.

"If you are looking to sell whatever skill you might have with those blades you carry, someone will be along eventually. The Shard rarely stays this empty for long. If you are looking for entertainment beyond good drinks and the tales adventurers and old soldiers tell, you will likely need to seek it elsewhere."

"These are not the only long, heavy things I have I'm skilled with" smirks Leeghon. "So, this a sword-for-hire lair. Very quaint."

From one of the groups seated at the tables, there was a chuckle of laughter at the young man's commentary. "If you think it is 'quaint', then you are DEFINITELY in the wrong tavern," replied a woman seated with the group, though she raised her wineglass in a casual salute. Sharp-featured, and tanned as if she spent most of her time outdoors, she was attractive enough, even with her hair cut in a sharp, miltary style. "Those are neither long enough nor heavy enough to be any fun," she added, reaching out her other hand to rest casually upon the hilt of the greatsword leaning against her chair.

[sblock=OOC]
I couldn't quite tell who is going on the Murder Most Foul adventure with Knoepf. If each player that is joining could PM me with their PC's name, level, and class/race, I'd appreciate it.

I'll be posting the adventure thread once I have the list of PCs.[/sblock]
