(technical, computer games) Anyone know WHEN the 1st 1 terrabyte HDD is coming out?

3 years ago I had a very good 500MHZ system, now it is crap, my duaghter uses it and says it is too slow (she is 11). I have AMD 2100+ system with near a gig of memory and a four HD raid setup, I got the parts less than a year ago and it is already old news. I figure by the time we get terabyte drives the rest of computing will have advanced by leaps and bounds. It wasn't that much more than 5 years ago when computer professionals were talking about 1 gig drives being more than anyone would ever need. Serial ATA is around the corner not to mention a lot of other major hardware changes.

True enough. My twin 1.6GB drives in 1995 were the bee's knees, baby.
