Teddy bears save my books!

That is why I store all my boxes (books, clothing, teddy bears) on top or some blocks of wood so they are at least 2 inches off the floor. ;)

I learned that lesson the hard way though. :(

Now show us a pic of the bloated drowned teddy bears :]

Before clicking the link I did expect to see a wall of teddy bears in front of a pile of books.

It was easy to recognize the kind of beverages you drink during your gaming sessions, but not the books you use. :(

Anyway, I see almost 70 of them, all with spine to the top. Did you find this was the best way to storage them, so they don't deteriorate? I personally noticed that mine, who are on shelves in the "usual position for books" (spine facing the viewer), tend to somewhat deteriorate over time...

Actually, that's water we stored before Isabel. My faith has this nutty survivalist undercurrent, but actually I think it's quite sensible.

Hmmm... I don't think it's so bad if they are packed together, unless the books aren't really well made (like WW/S&SS/Necro books, I'm afraid.) The top crate there is mostly FFG hardbounds, which tend to stay attached to the binding pretty well. I do worry about some of the bigger WotC books, though.

Probably have a point, though. I don't have as much shelf space at my new place. I'm trying to remedy that.
