Teen Titans

Dang, I didn't realize new episodes had started yet. ...Thanks for this thread! :) -Dave

Dang, you've missed a lot. Goto TV.com's site for summary and recaps. The big overarching plot this season seems to be the Brotherhood of Evil, old Doom Patrol villains that were given new life in the original New Teen Titans series when Perez was doing it. Some very cool villains indeed.

Looks to be a good season. I prefer these eps to the more bizarre ones like the Mad Mod episodes and the evil witch/mother episode.

Well, at least someone prefers it then... me, I love the Mad Mod episodes, and the one where they end up in the wizard's hat. With these "focus on other hero" shows, there's less chance to pay attention to characters because they're busy setting up stuff/showing off the new characters' powers.

CC I liked the Wizards hat one becuase they were in an alternate world and it was okay to be that bizzare but the Mad mod one where he transfromed the whole city into merry old england was too far out.

I thinking bending reality is okay to some point but some episodes rewrite the whole world without needing to do so.

I guess it stims from my borderline dislike of the manga style the whole show has. I like it a little less manga-ed up than it is but can live with it most episodes. Some just go way over. Its usually only 2-3 episodes a year and I usually like teh story but the actual animation is too much for me.

'Revolution' is probably my favorite episode so far. All the Monty Python/Beetles movies/Yellow Submarine riffs were great.
