We played the game a few times back in the '80s though the group preferred FGU's Aftermath! ruleset for such games.
Morrow Project was very gritty, very dangerous in combat. I remember one case where the team was in an APC, the spotter was wearing a helmet and had only his head showing. A 'native' threw a rock and killed him instantly. Hit location head, 1 in n chance of face, was face, did 5? points of damage, any head hit doing >= 5 points of damage had a % chance of instant lethality. Spotter fell over dead.
It was very hard for us to get set up. The only time you wanted to be in combat was in a massivley superior position and even then there was a chance of loss.
