I sure will. I want to read a little more first (just so I feel confident I'm commenting on the whole book, not just certain sections), but I'll be sure to leave a comment, perhaps also a review here on EN World.

By all means. Heck, I wouldn't bitch too loudly if you read the whole thing first. ;)

Package is on its way, incidentally. Drop me a line, here or via e-mail, if it hasn't arrived by Tuesday, and I'll look into it. Heck, drop me a line if it has arrived, just so I know. :)

Will do. THanks again.

Having had a little chance to read through Planar Factions:

1) Page 11:

Additionally, the Eternal Flame’s efforts at wiping out thieves’ guilds and criminal organizations often place them at odds with groups connected to the Midnight Empire.

You mean Twilight Empire here, perhaps?

2) The bit about paladins becoming blackguards without realizing it made me think "what about those hide ranks?" Then looking at the sample characters, I noticed that they have no hide ranks. (Not much consequence to me since I use unholy warriors anyway, just thought I'd mention it.)

Well, it's not a big issue or a lot of mechanical mistakes so I declare, "No harm No Foul." besides, the author is on the boards so perhaps he can add some to Psion's question.

Heya.

1) D'oh! Yes, I did indeed mean "Twilight Empire." That's what I get for having organizations with both "Midnight" and "Twilight" in the same project. :)

2) Another "D'oh!" I meant to include something about how, in these circumstances, the paladins didn't have to meet all the skill/feat-based requirements, since Moloch (and perhaps his own divine lord) is granting them their abilities under exceptional circumstances. Instead, the new blackguard will find himself instinctively developing such skills after the change (and, in a meta-game sense, any PCs must pick them up at the next available opportunity).

I'll talk to Phil--assuming he's not reading this ;)--about making said changes.

I hope you're still finding the book to your liking, Psion.

Waiting sucks...

So I recently ordered the DM Dictionary of Demiplanes through Lulu and have yet to find it in my mailbox. (Stupid Border)

Anybody else order and receive a print copy of this yet?

Reading it while pages load.
I ordered mine from Lulu the same day you did and received it about a week ago, but then I'm in Florida. Nyah nyah :D
