Just wanted to throw my two cp in. 
I view KoK as THE setting for fantasy RPGs - any rules-set you like. Its a serious setting for folks who take their fun seriously.
Also on Kenzer and Company: Super duper nice people* - except maybe Johannson (he scares me )

*Also: great to their fans, good business model, super fun to hang with, ton of passion for what they do.
