I don't play RPGs to "turn off my brain", I like rules that make me think. That said, I have enjoyed IronClaw and Savage Worlds, yet I see them more as convention games than as games for a campaign. For a campaign, I like the rules to have for lack of a better word "meat". I also find as other posters have already mentioned, that rules-medium to rules-heavy games tend to be a consistent system with few breaks from the core mechanic. Also, the math is often more consistent in rules-heavy games. In my opinion and all that jazz.
