tell me what you think - campaign idea

ok.. time for some vague stats.

Lets See.. Now.. I am using the most of the Sov Stone Classes - but I don't see the point of some of them. so I am dropping Archer and Mounted Warrior. Fighter is sufficient.

Dusk Elves - I seem them having gained strength from being underground..but they have become more aloof.. but still quite dextrous

so..hmm.. maybe Str +2, Dex +2, Con -2, Char -2, Darkvision 60', Usual Elven Benefits, Favoured Class - Elementalist

Standard Dwarves - I see the standard dwarves as being a little Roman Empire like. I see them as being fairly standard dwarves.. similar in looks to the Gold Dwarves from FR.
Standard Dwarven stats and benefits.. Favoured Class - Fighter

Rage Dwarves - hmmm.. I see them as being more violent. focusing more on strength and toughness.. but not very sociable, and a little bit careless - More of a Ruddy Colouring
stats - Str +2, Con +2, Char -2, Wis -2. Favoured Class - Barbarian

Deep Dwarves - more reclusive.. look like bald dwarves.. colouring interesting enough tends to be like whatever stone/rock they were raised near.
stats- hmm.. standard plus Darkvision 120'..and... um.. -4 Char instead... Favoured Class - Elementalist.. most prefer Earth or Fire. And they look different..

Humans.
as per normal.. however they can take the Low-Light Vision Feat at first level.. and if they really want they can take Darkvision as well at first level. Some humans have either Dwarven or Elven blood in them now and their looks can reflect this subtley..

Half-Elves.
As per normal. Can take Darkvision at first level.

Half-Dwarves
Half-Dwarves are an oddity (I love Darksun Mul) in that they are only slightly shorter than humans, but they have the same large build as dwarves. Somehow in the union they gained great strength but lost out on some mobilty
+2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Dex, -2 Char, Darkvision 60' Favoured Class - Fighter, Barbarian

I am stuck for names for the different races of dwarves.. I have come to think of the younger generation of Elves as Dusk Elves.. and I like the names for the different sub-sects of humans.. but I need some names for the different dwarves.

I also have to work out my jungle halflings.

Dwarven names

Standard Dwarves Imperial Dwarves - due to their "Roman Empire" similarity

Rage Dwarves Rage Dwarves - Why change a good name?

Deep Dwarves Flint Dwarves; Stone Dwarves - due to their stony color

Hopefully these ideas are good enough to pinch, too.

cool.. you gave me an idea. Silimar to Chinese Elementism, the dwarves have a Legend of their being 5 Empires of Dwarf-kind.. Air, Water, Wood, Metal, and Fire. (Now... some of the Empires still exist... hence
Imperial Dwarves works for me... but that would be the moniker that other people would probably give them.. they are the Empire of Wood (But it sounds cooler to the Dwarves in their own tongue).. hence people might call them Imperials...or Wood Dwarves..hmm.. Now.. calling them Wood Dwarves might mislead people.. but the way I look at it.. these guys considered that they weren't stronger, faster, harder then anybody else.. so they just got better organised.

And Deep Dwarves are from the Empire of Metal.. also know as Metal dwarves. Depending on what kind of Stone or Rock they look like they may get other nicknames.. like Steel, or Gold.. etc.

And Rage Dwarves are from the Empire of Fire, they used to be called Fire Dwarves more... but as they have succumbed to the rage, many are calling them the Rage Dwarves.

As for the other two empires.. I don't think I need them at this point. in fact.. just having the legend gives me a hook for latter. mwa hahahahahahaaa.. um..sorry bout that.

Had an idea for a Prestige Class (yup I am having them.. but only the ones I deem fit)

Pre-Req - Fire Dwarf, or Half-Fire Dwarf.

Benefits.. Stuff..

What are they.. basically these guys are Warriors who take a little Fire Elementalism to enhance their combat abilities.. I see a bunch of special abilities that they can do with fire.. things like.. Fire Resistance 5 then 10 then 20.. some kind of Flame Shroud or Cloak etc.. dunno yet.. but I have the idea for it.
