Temp no longer

This is my last day as a Temp employee. I start a career position on Monday. I'm glad to be done with the uncertainty and transient nature of that type of employment. Plus, better benefits.

Congrats! Temp work can be such a pain. Decent way to make some connections if you have the personality for it, but a permanent position is nice.

Congratulations, Brain! Woohoo!

My boss just got a full-time position approved so she can hire the intern who has been working with us part-time for the last year. Then, less than a week later, one of the ops analysts we already have (there are only four of us until the new position is created) gave his notice because he was offered something better by another company. So now the boss has two full-time positions to fill and will probably want another intern once ours moves into one of the FT ones.
