Tempest abilities?

Could someone please tell me what abilities and feats the Tempest gains for leveling up as named in The Complete Adventurer? I'm trying to decide between this and an invisible dagger for my Rogue/Fighter.

What's an invisible dagger? From which book?

A tempest gets a +3 AC bonus when dual wielding, over 5 levels. Also, a +2 bonus to attacks when dual-wielding, the BAB, hps, and save progression of a fighter, two-weapon spring attack as a pinnacle ability, and "two-weapon versatility" at 3rd level, which lets you apply the weapon focus - specialization- greater focus/specialization feats and improved critical to both your weapons if you have them for one weapon.

All in all, not great. All these abilities except the versatility require you to be in light armor. The class seems like it is designed to make a light-fighting dual wielder into more of a front-line fighter, but if you want to be a front-line fighter, you're going to be wearing heavy armor. A +3 to your AC isn't the same as the +4 you'd get from switching from a chain shirt to full plate.

Versatility is a pretty silly ability, because if you're a dual-wielder and you have focus, specialization, etc, you're going to be dual-wielding twin weapons. If you were really set on making a tempest, you could do it, but you'd almost be better off just going straight fighter.

Since they are both 5-level PrCs and fit well together, I'd eventually take both, if it were me.

If you want to play an Invisible Blade, though, I'd suggest asking your DM to switch the prereqs, since it's a well known fact that those prereqs were determined originally for the 10-level version of the class which did feature dagger throwing and the 5-level one doesn't.

By 4th Level you gain Ambidexterity and Improved Ambidexterity negating the -2 penalty for TWF as long as your using a light weapon in your off hand

That's what I meant by "a +2 bonus to attacks when dual-wielding"; I forgot to add the restriction about the light weapon, though.

Not that it matters so much, since CAdv has a feat that lets you treat a one-handed weapon as a light weapon for purposes of dual wielding.

Oversized Two Weapon Fighting and it only applies to the weapon in your off hand not both hands. Just allows you to use two same sized one handed weapons together.
