Template to create fire elemental?

Are there any templates that may be applied to a normal creature to create a fire elemental version of that creature (like animals or the like)? I didn't see anything like that in the Monster Manual, at least; maybe something like this is in one of the other books?

You'll find what you are looking for in the Manual of the Planes. It's 3.0 though, so be sure to pick up the 3.5 update booklet for it on the Wizards site.

The last offering from the Scarred Lands line, "Strange Lands", has a template for each element, and for both lawful and chaotic as well, and they are 3.5. Also, the Monster's Handbook has elemental templates as well, though it's 3.0. The Advanced Bestiary has elemental templates for the "in-between" elements, like icy, smoke, magma, and ooze, and it's 3.5 as well.

There's also a version called a Half-Elemental in the Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil.

Half-elemental is more of a crossbreed between an elemental-ish outsider (e.g. a genie) and a normal creature, while the elemental templates from MotP are more "here's a jaguar-like creature from the plane of fire."

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the half-elemental templates are in MotP too.
