Temple of the Frog d20 from WotC?

Hi all,

From the D&D website:

On the DM side of things, you'll also find a new scenario added to the downloadable adventures . . . a revision of an old sci-fi module. There are no Barrier Peaks involved this time, but there are plenty of . . . frogs. And cyborgs. And strange temples to explore.

CLICKY

What does this mean?

:)

Temple of the Frog would be very cool. Even better if it's a reworking of the original version from the OD&D Blackmoor supplement, as opposed to the DA2 version. But either would rock.

I think this would be a rather unfair move by WotC, since they had licensed the BM stuff to Zeitgeist Games earlier; ZGG is supposedly working on a release of their own version of ToF 3.5.

Yet, maybe it's Shrine of the Kuo-Toa. :)

I wouldn't mind at all seeing an update of D2, even though I have the original and dcollins's conversion. But surely they'd do the precursor modules first. Anyway, we're getting carried away. D2 doesn't have SF elements in it.

I never read or played DA2 but I do remember playing the original Blackmoor version, so that's what I'd like to see updated.

I just saw the listing in Ptolus yesterday where Monte had an empty "Temple of the Frog" in the Temple District. It'd be a hoot to try and adapt this dungeon to the city.

Yeah, but serves them right, because they never sent me that signed copy of Blackmoor I won here 2 years ago. :p Although at this point, I don't care, since they publish products for Blackmoor, I've largely lost interest in it.

Yes, yes, my precious original Blackmoor booklet Temple of the Frog. The first published D&D adventure EVAH needs to hop again! :]
