Temuro is pounded into the ground by Tso-Nah - Ciaran judged

Knight Otu

First Post
Shiba Temuro, Phoenix Bushi

Yellow Belt D2 - Student of the Fighting Beast Dojo
Powers: Signature Style (Manticore), Dojo Style (Sword), Fist of Fury

(OOC: Jeph and I have agreed on a rematch between Temuro and Tso-Nah. We agreed on the following match type:

Strategy, non-speed, non-style.

Length of the match will be determined by the winner of the insult round.)

After reporting to his sensei, Temuro turns to Tso-Nah.

"Tso-Nah-san, you said that you have met Sanctus Togashi. What can you tell me about him?"

Sahiro Tso-Nah
Copper Sash 2
Powers: Signature Style (Mantis), Arena fighter, Profiteer, Bribe Judges
Yen: 5
Items: None yet
History:
LOSS to Shiba Temuro, gained 4 Yen, remained White Belt
WIN against Sanctus togashi, gained 1 Yen, advanced to Copper Sash 2

"I do not know too much about this Togashi fellow . . . our match was quick. But the man seemed honorable. A worthy opponent, indeed."

Tso-Nah scuffs out a rough arena outline with his boot, and then turns back to Temuro.

"Shall we state insults?

I find your dog to be boorish, your town to be tattered, and your battle record to be bad!"

"It shall be, Tso-Nah-san.

I find your sibling and your accountant to be like unto a horror, your country to be valueless, and your spirit to be unskilled. "

In the distance, the two of you see an elaborate palanquin. It is borne by four sturdy, handsome men, each of whom is wearing a lavender toga. As the palanquin approaches, you hear a lovely soprano voice emerge from inside.

"Ooo ooo! A fight! Stop here so I can judge it!"

The men stop and gently lower the palanquin to the ground. A lovely young woman steps out of it. She is clad in a lavender kimono and has a lotus in her hair.

"My name is Lady Wei, and I shall judge this fight. I think a good place for this match would be at the canyon south-west of the Altar of the Rainbow Circle on the day of the lizard. Don't you?"

"Since Sahiro's insult is accurate, and he's so ridiculously handsome, he wins the insult round."

Tso-Nah blushes slightly, and bows in respect. "Honorable judge, I request a strategy match of three flags, with judge generated hands."

Tso-Nah's hand:
<MechaMeowth> 1: The kama overwhelms the ricefield; blocks the aggression of the barrens!
<MechaMeowth> 2: The trident drowns the cavern; blocks the chaos of the spring!
<MechaMeowth> 3: The chain decimates the tower; guards against the energy of the grass!
<MechaMeowth> 4: The unicorn seeks before the volcano; scatters the aggression of the flower!
<MechaMeowth> 5: The snake quells the sea as it drops near the Iron City; quells the speed of the fortification!

Temuro's hand:
<MechaMeowth> 1: The lotus blossom drops over the bluff; avoids the quickening of the bone!
<MechaMeowth> 2: The east wind appears from the city; wards off the foray of the ice!
<MechaMeowth> 3: The mace brutalizes the fountain; quells the tempest of the ice!
<MechaMeowth> 4: The oak slays the dungeon; removes the descent of the reptile!
<MechaMeowth> 5: The phoenix bashes the sea as it unremittingly splits the Garden of Lost Hope; guards against the blood of the spring!

1: The kama overwhelms the ricefield; blocks the aggression of the barrens!

As soon as the good Lady gives the signal to begin, Tso-Nah leaps into the air and attempts to use the force of the leap to overwhelm Temuro! He then brings in his off-hand blade to block Temuro's aggreisve assault!

Temuro doesn't look happy as Lady Wei comments on his battle record. :(

5: The phoenix bashes the sea as it unremittingly splits the Garden of Lost Hope; guards against the blood of the spring!

Muttering a prayer, Temuro's armor seems to lighten in color, becoming more yellow and orange rather than red, as the Phoenix spirit becomes one with him, empowering his attack on Tso-Nah. He attempts to bash away one of the sash's blades to split his opponent's defense, while on guard for a springing attack that might draw his blood.

"Hmm... these are close, so let me tally up points.

Tso-Nah:
Good offense: 1
Good defense: 1

Temuro:
Excellent, 2 part offense: 4
Average defense: 0
Attacking a garden like a big meanie: -1

Seems like Temuro wins the round."

Lady Wei tosses Temuro a lotus blossom.

Point Shiba Temuro! 1 point Shiba Temuro, 0 points Sahiro Tso-Nah!

OOC: I'm not sure about the Bribe Judge thing.. should I wait until Tso-Nah declares whether he wishes to use it or not? If I don't have to wait, this is my move:

3: The mace brutalizes the fountain; quells the tempest of the ice!

Wielding his katana like a mace, Temuro forcefully brings it down on his opponent, in the hope that it quells the expected tempest of slashes from Tso-Nah.
